AAU
Aalborg University (AAU) is a leading Danish university known for its problem-based learning approach and strong research focus. The department of the Built Environment (BUILD) at AAU conducts interdisciplinary research and education in sustainable construction, energy-efficient buildings, and smart cities.The Research Group for Building Energy Systems and Indoor Environment focuses on optimizing energy performance, indoor air quality, and thermal comfort in buildings through advanced technologies, innovative control strategies, and data-driven analysis.

CIT Renergy
CIT Renergy AB is a subsidiary of the non-profit foundation Chalmers Industriteknik. The company was formed at the turn of the year 2022/2023 through a merger of CIT Energy Management AB and CIT Industriell Energi AB, with operations since the late 1980s. CIT Renergy unique expertise consists of combining detailed technical knowledge with an overall energy system perspective. They specialize in analyses and investigations of energy systems and energy technologies as well as energy efficiency. CIT Renergy extensive experience of working with the energy needs of buildings and indoor environmental issues as well as with the energy-intensive industry. The company is also well-acquainted with, and have extensive knowledge about, energy simulation models for different types of buildings, how they are used and advising in suitable requirement specifications or certification schemes. Provided services are used both during the planning phase of new buildings and in the operation or rebuilding of existing buildings. Their customers are involved in the building process – purchasers, architects, constructors and building contractors – or in the administration stage – property owners, operational organisations and users.

EURIX
EURIX is an IT company strongly focused on the design, development and integration of software based on innovative tech. EURIX is acknowledged for its expertise in system integration for both business and research. EURIX relies on DevOps principles and Agile methodologies to develop and maintain software. So far EURIX has been involved in several EU and national research projects on energy efficiency, indoor environment quality, IoT-based remote control, platforms for metadata extraction and management, data standards. Since 2006 EURIX has been ISO 9001 certified. In 2016 Italy's Ministry of Economic Development labeled EURIX an Innovative SME. An Innovative SME hires highly qualified people; it spends more than 3% of turnover or annual cost, whichever is higher, on R&D; it is the owner, depositary or licensee of a patent or it owns registered software. EURIX's core business spans three areas: energy efficiency and IoT; network and data security; digital transformation.

LUT
Lublin University of Technology is a state institution and the largest technical university in the region. It was established on 13th May 1953 on the initiative of Lublin's community of engineers and technicians. The University maintains close relations with academic institutions and communities worldwide (over 180 bilateral agreements). The relations translate into joint research, guest lectures and science internships, joint international conferences, joint projects, student exchange and double degree programs. In frame of this project scientific staff from 3 Faculities will take part, namely: Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The Faculty of Environmental Engineering is involved in several research topics such as energy efficiency in buildings, forecast control of heating system, forecast control of RES, evaluation of HVAC systems in terms of energy consumption and providing optimal indor air conditions, heat cost allocation and smart meters. We have also laboratory for testing and optimization of operating parameters of central heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC) elements.

NTNU
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway´s largest university and Norway´s primary institution for educating engineers and scientists. It is organized into nine faculties and 55 departments, with headquarters in Trondheim and campuses in Gjøvik and Ålesund. NTNU has over 43000 students and 8000 full time staff. In 2021, it awarded nearly 415 PhDs of which 43 per cent are women and 35 per cent are international. Founded in 1906 from the roots of the Technical School for Engineers created in 1859, Politecnico di Torino is among the top Engineering and Technology universities in the world, the 45th according to the QS University Rankings 2023 by broad Subject, the 28th in Architecture and Built Environment, 33rd for Civil and Structural Engineering. In 2013 the European Commission awarded POLITO the 'HR Excellence in Research' award. It has a yearly budget of about € 317 million and over 38,700 students enrolled in academic courses (20% of them are international students). POLITO international education network features about 310 international agreements and 168 double-degree agreements with EU and non-EU universities, active participation in university networks and the establishment of international campuses.
