The Research Forum is an initiative designed to bring together early-career researchers and create a dynamic platform for academic exchange and collaboration.
These meetings provide an opportunity for PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers to present and discuss ongoing work across a range of topics, including Smart Readiness Indicators (SRIs), peak shaving, indoor environment quality, and the development of AI-based algorithms for smart grid-ready buildings and novel KPIs for smart readiness of buildings. Meetings will also include sharing of measurement data, simulation results, and findings from the testing of advanced control strategies in specific environments.
By fostering open dialogue, the series aims to help participants refine their ideas, gain new perspectives, and strengthen their research quality.
Beyond individual presentations, the meetings are intended to encourage connections among researchers with overlapping interests or complementary expertise. This can serve as a starting point for future collaborations, interdisciplinary projects, and the development of innovative research directions.
Ultimately, the goal of this initiative is to support young researchers in their academic growth, enhance the visibility of their work, and cultivate a collaborative research environment where new ideas can emerge and thrive.
Researchers from the ENTRANCE project will mostly take part in these meeting series, but other colleagues will be welcomed based on their interests and after direct invitation.
