Politecnico di Torino welcomed the ENTRANCE consortium for two intense and productive days, bringing together all project partners to take stock of progress and chart the path ahead. The meeting proved to be a valuable opportunity to update on the situation at the pilot sites, align on the work packages, and collectively define the next steps, building a shared structure that will support the project in fulfilling its objectives.
Day 1
The first day was dedicated to progress updates, with all partners presenting the latest developments from their respective work packages. Particular attention was given to the pilot sites, with engaging presentations that offered the whole consortium a concrete picture of activities on the ground.
The day ended on a memorable note with a guided tour, led by Filippo Spertino, of the PhotoVoltaic Zero Energy Network laboratory at the Energy Department of Politecnico di Torino. The tour took participants up to the university’s rooftops, where they discovered a complex photovoltaic testing facility, all while enjoying a stunning view of Turin in the springtime. Day 2
The second day focused on the work packages and forward planning, with partners collectively shaping the next steps for the consortium. A special visit to the Energy Center offered a hands-on look at the indoor environmental quality monitoring (IEQ) system and the Building Management System (BMS).
The ENTRANCE team extends its warmest thanks to Politecnico di Torino for their generous hospitality, for hosting the meeting, guiding partners around the campus, and sharing a taste of Turin and Piemonte’s culture. ENTRANCE has just completed its first year of life and activities, and the future looks bright and full of interesting developments. Stay tuned, you will see us around!
